Structural Engineer - Non-Traditional Opportunity (5 - 15 years) 

Florida

  • If you’re the type of structural engineer who has thought that they would love to be involved in structural engineering from a product-focused side, this position might be right for you!

  • We are working with a company in Central California who is searching for a Technical Service Engineer who will perform engineering analysis, handle incoming client questions regarding building codes, and act as a liaison to the Research and Development team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with inquiries regarding product capabilities and performance specs.
  • Perform engineering analysis for connections, product spans, and seismic calculations.
  • Handle building code inquiries regarding the product.
  • Communicate with the Research & Development Department regarding suggested product improvements.
  • Prepare Project Submittals. 

    • Requirements:
     

    • BS or MS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis or equivalent
    • Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states
    • 3 - 10 years experience after receiving P.E. license
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
